I wanted to let everyone know that I am applying for three committee/board positions in Royal Oak as a way to better serve my community and to get a better understanding for the needs and concerns of the residents of Royal Oak.  I am applying for the Economic Development Corporation, the Royal Oak Acorn Foundation and the Solid Waste Advisory Board.  This will be a great way for me to meet many people and talk with them about what they need and expect from their local and state government officials which will help me in my cause as candidate for Michigan State Representative in 2010.

Hello concerned citizens of Michigan!  I just wanted to write and let you know that my campaign for state representative in Michigan is really gaining steam.  If you have any questions, concerns, want to volunteer, etc I may be reached at:

Beginning this summer, I plan on conducting a grass roots tour of as many halls, schools, community organizations, clubs and any other place were people gather and meet to collect your thoughts and concerns about Michigan.  This will be an information gathering tour and a way for me to introduce myself to everyone.  On this tour we will get to know each other, we will talk about what concerns us the most and possible solutions to the problems.  Then it will be my job as your representative to take these concerns, develop a plan to make things better and present that plan to you and lead it through the process in Lansing in an effort to restore Michigan and bring it back to life.

Welcome to the blog of 2010 House of Representative 26th district candidate Tim Constant.

I am running for the 26th District seat in the Michigan House of Representatives for one reason. I believe that the approach by many law and policy makers is incorrect and unfocused. Michigan is in a crisis. People are moving out of the state because things are so poor in this state.

I have created a very dynamic and aggressive plan that is highly focused on core issues that seem to be the root cause of the economic, social and political problems in Michigan.  I plan to use my very diverse background in pulling Michigan out of the ashes and making it a great place to live and raise a family again.

So who is Tim Constant. The following is some information for you to get to know me better:

  • Over 10 years of business and finance experience in the automotive industry.
  • Over 3 years of experience working with Wayne County, HUD and non-profit community organizations.
